Rwanda Environmental NGO's Forum
The Rwanda Environmental NGO’s mandate is to coordinate and facilitate the activities of all national NGO’s intervening in the sector of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, and including maintaining a database of their interventions and location of their activities.
RENGOF Contributes to Rwanda’s key strategies that respond to the desire for growth and poverty reduction with a special consideration of climate change and Environment and Natural Resources towards sustainable development and green growth.
Mission
to promote, coordinate, monitor and evaluate activities of NGOs and CBOs engaged in the Environment and Natural Resources and climate change in Rwanda.
Objective
To actively participate and contribute to the implementation of the updated NDC by strengthening Institutional and technical capacity of Environmental NGOs to develop implementation strategies including domestic and external resource mobilisation.
Activities
For institutional and technical capacity development
Activity 1
Strengthen coordination capacity of RENGOF to lead the implementation and reporting of environment and climate change agenda at community, national and international
Activity 2
Comprehensive training in Project management and Leadership Development
Activity 3
Support the capacity of CSOs to plan, monitor and report of ENR sector priorities in general and NDC in particular
Enhancing both Institutional and Technical Capacity of Environmental Non-Governmental Organisations
